Meet Our 2025 Development Riders

Brookmyer McIntyre | Age 27 | Location Denver - New to DTE in 2025
Brookmyer McIntyre, originally from the mountains of Colorado, has spent the past eight years exploring the world but is returning to her roots in 2025 to reconnect with her home state. With a diverse journey that has taken her from the Andes of Chile to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, and most recently to the Chilterns in England, Brookmyer has built a life full of adventure, growth, and exploration. Her journey into competitive sports began with a deep love for whitewater kayaking. After moving to Chile to pursue kayaking in the Andes, she developed a strong connection to the outdoors and adventure. This passion led her to pursue a dream of competing in the Olympics in rowing, which eventually brought her to Oxford. Her Olympic dream didn’t progress and she found herself at a crossroads. She transitioned her focus to coaching junior girls’ rowing, helping them find confidence and strength, and developed a deep appreciation for the power of mentorship in sports. Through this experience she reinvigorated her passion for sport and began to plot a new path forward pursuing her own athletic goals.

While living in England, Brookmyer discovered cycling, which became her new outlet for performance and self-discovery. What began as a necessity for commuting soon transformed into the perfect fit to quench her thirst for racing and adventure. Cycling offered her a new way to challenge herself, and it quickly became central to her life.

Brookmyer has balanced full-time work in social media management, 15-20 hours of training each week, and coaching ambitions. She proudly coached the first-ever female crew from Maidenhead Rowing Club to compete at Henley Royal Regatta, further reinforcing her belief in mentorship and the importance of community. As she transitions back to Colorado, she is excited to connect with the local cycling community and build upon her athletic journey.

Her cycling goals for 2025 include building a strong foundation for her career, pushing her limits in races like Iron Horse, STB GRVL, and Highlands Gravel while working toward qualifying for the UCI Gravel World Championships. Looking further ahead, Brookmyer aspires to compete in multi-day endurance races, with an eye toward entering the pro field in the next five years and helping reshape the narrative of women’s cycling.

Returning to Colorado excites her not only for the racing opportunities but for the chance to immerse herself in a supportive community of athletes and contribute to the growth of the next generation of cyclists. Brookmyer is driven to elevate women in sport, continue her cycling journey, and inspire others to pursue their own dreams through determination and community.

Chavon Rosenthal | 39 | Boulder - From Ambassador to Development Rider

Chavon Rosenthal is a passionate gravel cyclist based in Boulder, CO, stepping into a Development Rider role with DTE for 2025. After serving as a DTE Ambassador in 2024, she is eager to take the next step in her cycling journey, embracing the opportunity for support, mentorship, and community as she pushes her limits and grows as an athlete.

Chavon came to cycling later in life, but it quickly became her greatest passion. With a background in ballet, she brings discipline, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the mental aspects of performance to the sport. Gravel racing, with its mix of challenge, strategy, and camaraderie, has given her a sense of belonging and purpose.

She is deeply committed to inspiring others to pursue their goals and embrace their potential, a mission that aligns with the strong community focus of DTE. When she’s not riding, Chavon works as a product manager building financial software, studies the mental aspects of performance and well-being, and shares her home with her two cats, Max and Curry.

As she embarks on her 2025 season, Chavon is excited to push her boundaries, take on new challenges, and discover new strengths through every ride and race.

Lindsey Lavender | 36 | Longmont - Lindsey Moves into a Development Role for 2025

After a strong 2024 season as an Award Rider, Lindsey is stepping into a Development Rider role with DTE for 2025 to further pursue her potential on the bike.

A social worker and youth therapist by trade, Lindsey’s true passion lies in both riding and racing. She thrives on the adventure, the physical and mental challenge, and the opportunity to continually push her limits. To Lindsey, the bike represents freedom—the freedom to be mobile, to escape the never-ending hamster wheel of thoughts, and to simply be present. It embodies strength and resilience, and serves as a reminder to choose herself, even when so much of her life is dedicated to supporting others.

Now entering her fourth season of racing, Lindsey continues to fall more in love with the sport every time she lines up at the start. Being part of Team DTE has been life-changing, and she’s excited to take on new challenges as she moves into the pro field in 2025. This season is all about growth, pushing boundaries, and seeing just how far she can go.
