DTE MTB: Empowering Women To Conquer The Trails

Introducing the DTE MTB Program for 2025!

  • Starla Teddergreen

After an epic experience at the 2024 Breck Epic with DTE riders, I knew we wanted to keep that energy alive—so we’re launching a new MTB program for 2025! There’s nothing better than racing alongside friends, seeing each other out on the course, and celebrating at the finish line, and we’re excited to bring that same camaraderie to more MTB events this year.

As I transition to full-time MTB racing, our mission remains the same: getting more women to the start line.

  • Amy De Boisblanc

I’m so excited to be part of the Distance to Empty mountain bike program this year and can’t wait to spend more time on the trails and at events along with the other incredible women within the DTE community.

  • Anna Hulse

Anna Hulse is crushing law school, but she’ll still be riding for joy (and maybe chasing some downhill records—we’ll see!). We’ll be cheering her on, on and off the bike, all season long.

  • Megan Percy

I’m thrilled to be part Distance to Empty again this year. I love pushing my limits on the bike and being part of an incredible women’s mountain bike community. Racing the Breck Epic in 2024 was an unforgettable experience—made even better by the camaraderie of fellow DTE women. The support and motivation within this team inspire me to go further, ride harder, and take on even bigger pursuits in 2025. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be part of a group that values grit, adventure, and the joy of riding with other women!

  • Heather Rubin

The past two years riding with DTE on gravel allowed me to have opportunities that I never thought were possible for someone like me. From riding my longest distance ever at 142 miles to coming back from a major knee injury and standing at top of a podium just a few months later, I have learned so much about myself and what I am capable of. While, I’ve enjoyed the miles the friendships and the laughter un gravel. My greatest joy on the bike has always been when I’m riding my mountain bike. This year I could not be more excited to be stepping back into my zone and love for the mountain bike alongside some brilliant female athletes. LFG!!!

  • Briana Valorosi

What an incredible opportunity to join Distance To Empty for another year! A chance to share our goals, efforts, learning, and vulnerabilities. Never showing up alone, even if we are traveling solo. This mountain bike program sets a stage for us to push ourselves, approach challenges with support, and shape seasons of riding and racing mountain bikes in a way that uniquely suits us as individuals. I am grateful to be a part of an inspiring, motivated, and ambitious crew, reveling in opportunities to come together, on and off the bike.

  • Lauren Zimmer

Lauren Zimmer, is a new DTE athlete from Salt Lake City, UT. Yes, she’s technically out of state, but some people just instantly feel like family—and Lauren is one of them. With her experience, leadership, and fantastic energy, she’ll bring so much to the team.

“I am honored to be a part of DTE this year! I love being a part of an all-women’s team led by one of the coolest ladies I have ever met! I know the DTE women will push me to be a better rider and am excited to race with everyone!!” - Lauren

  • Zoe Zwecker

Zoe may have moved back to Maine, but we’re not letting her go! Whether she makes it out to Colorado races or we head East for some muddy root riding, she’s still part of the DTE crew — “I am so psyched to be riding with DTE again in 2025! This team was built on this dream and conceived of spirit, grit, and resilience. Riding along the DTE team in 2024 provided me with the support to acknowledge my own vulnerability, bravery and resilience and gave me tools to contribute to a larger community of inspiring humans. I could not be more excited to navigate another race year alongside such rockstar humans.”
